Terms of Use

Last updated: October 7, 2025

These Terms govern use of Officer Assist (web) by agencies, schools, and authorized users.

1) Acceptance

By accessing or using Officer Assist (web), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into this on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.

2) Accounts & roles

3) Acceptable use

4) Agency/School data ownership

Agencies/schools retain ownership of the records they create, upload, or sync. RevTek may process such data to operate the service (e.g., generate PDFs, store to Firestore/Storage, email as directed) and to maintain reliability and security.

5) Service changes & availability

We may update, improve, or modify features. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance or incidents may cause temporary downtime.

6) Software license

Subject to these Terms and your organization’s agreement, we grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Officer Assist (web) for authorized internal purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by RevTek.

7) Third-party services

The app may integrate with third-party providers (e.g., Firebase, email relays, mapping, court lookups). Use of such services may be subject to their terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party content or outages.

8) Fees & billing

Pricing, setup fees, and billing cycles are governed by your signed agreement with RevTek. These Terms do not alter those commercial terms. Non-payment may result in suspension.

9) Confidentiality

We treat non-public agency/school data as confidential and use it only to provide the service, comply with law, or protect the service and its users.

10) Warranties & disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OFFICER ASSIST SUPPORTS—BUT DOES NOT REPLACE—OFFICIAL AGENCY POLICIES, TRAINING, OR JUDGMENT.

11) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REVTEK WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOUR ORGANIZATION TO REVTEK FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12) Indemnity

Your organization agrees to defend and indemnify RevTek against claims arising from (a) misuse of the service, (b) violation of law or third-party rights, or (c) records/content your users submit or process through the service.

13) IP & feedback

Officer Assist and all related IP are owned by RevTek. If you provide feedback, you grant RevTek a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to improve the service.

14) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risks, legal requirements, or non-payment (per your commercial agreement). Upon termination, some obligations survive (e.g., confidentiality, limitations of liability).

15) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflicts of law. Exclusive venue lies in the state courts located in Greer County, Oklahoma (or, if federal jurisdiction exists, the Western District of Oklahoma).

16) Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
